Episode 53 - Young & Wise

In this episode Jessica shared a conversation with her 13th year old niece, about life and the relationships between people of different generations and the opportunity that information is shared both ways.
She had the opportunity to listen to the younger generations and give them the opportunity to set the topics on the table.
Times change, and generations change as well. Each one being the consequence of the one before, the younger one taking the opportunity to define itself in its own way. Making their best to not repeat the same mistakes the previous one did.
Younger generations are now discovering life, experimenting, awakening, growing, understanding and knowing who they are, walking their own path.
As adults, as the older generations, we have the responsibility to create a loving, compassionate, empathetic, and vulnerable space where they can feel comfortable sharing, asking questions, and they can feel heard and understood. How can we guide them if we don't listen to what they have to say? We can learn and grow from listening to each other. I invite you to share an open minded and open hearted conversation with your children, teenage neighbors, your nieces and nephews, and truly listen, we can learn a lot from them too.
